VERY GOOD DESSERT | |
3 c. vanilla wafers, crushed 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese 1 can pie filling (cherry or berry) 3/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 pkgs. dessert topping 1 c. half & half (or milk) Mix crushed wafers and butter; press about 1/2 or 3/4 of this into a flat pan. Soften cheese; add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Prepare dessert topping with cream or milk and fold into cheese mixture. Spread 1/2 of this mixture over crumbs in pan; spread pie filling next and then the rest of the cream cheese mixture. Top with the reserved crumbs. Refrigerate for a couple hours. |
