GOUDA WRAPPED IN PASTRY | |
Thaw 1 sheet Pepperidge Farm pastry sheet. Cut into a circle. Unwrap wax from gouda cheese. Place cheese in center of pastry. Fold up around cheese. Pinch together and seal edges with water. Poke air holes in the top. Refrigerate 3 hours. Brush top with beaten egg and water. Put in foil-lined (greased) cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Reduce to 375 degrees and bake 15 minutes until brown. Let stand on counter 45-60 minutes prior to serving. (Use scrap pastry to decorate top.) |
