Batter for Shrimp
   #173205
 John (California) says:
If I make this again, I think I will try to use about three quarters of the teaspoon of salt, as this was saltier than is palatable, for myself.

This batter would probably be more suitable for a corn dog, than shrimp, but I could see it accomodating the appropriate raving if I want a poofier, cornier batter.

It comes out thick. This recipe made enough batter to cover my ten jumbo shrimp.

I like it. This was my first "shrimp from scratch," though I will seek a lighter, cornmeal-free batter for the next shrimp I make.
