SOUTHERN PECAN PUDDING PIE 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. chopped pecans
1 graham cracker pie crust
1 (4 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding
1 pkg. Dream Whip

Buy ready-made or prepare graham pie crust. Melt butter, sugar, and pecans in saucepan. Pour into pie. Bake at 450 degrees for 4-5 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Prepare vanilla pudding according to package directions. Let cool five minutes. Pour all but one cup into pie crust. Refrigerate cup of pudding and pie for at least one hour.

Prepare package of Dream Whip according to package directions. Mix cup of pudding into Dream Whip mixture. Pour on top of pudding pie. Garnish with pecans and cherries. Chill for several hours.
