EASY VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lg. can V-8 or tomato juice
1 lg. can kidney beans
1 reg. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 reg. can stewed tomatoes
1-1 1/2 lb. browned ground beef (optional)
Sauteed onion (optional)
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 head sliced cabbage

Anything else you have around that you want to add (Vegetables, rice, barley, pasta).

Mix together and boil in Dutch oven or large soup pan. Allow to simmer. Add cabbage about 1/4-1/2 hour before serving. You want the cabbage to be "tender-crisp". Great with homemade bread or biscuits.
