BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES 
25-30 med. cucumbers
1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
1/2 c. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
2 sweet peppers
8 lg. onions
5 c. white vinegar
5 c. sugar

Wash and slice cucumber thin, chop onion and pepper. Combine and pour and salt over and let stand 3 hours.

Make syrup, drain vegetables and put into syrup that has come to a boil. Heat thoroughly but do not boil. Seal and process 5 minutes complete seal.
