CASHEW NUT COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sour cream
2 c. broken cashews

Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream, mixing well. Fold in cashew nuts.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until done.
