1 pkg. hot dogs
Cheese, shredded (any kind)
Instant mashed potatoes
2 tbsp. butter

Make instant potatoes as directed on back of package. Make enough for 6 servings. Cut hot dog lengthwise so they lay flat. Top hot dogs with mashed potatoes. Dot with butter, sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Real mashed potatoes may be used - it just takes a little longer.
