DARLA'S BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. top round, cubed and floured
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. butter
Salt and pepper
Garlic powder
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can water
Mushrooms, sliced
1 pt. sour cream
Rice, cooked

Saute onion and meat in butter until brown. Add seasonings. Mix mushrooms in well. Add soup and water. Simmer until very tender.

Before serving, add sour cream. Serve over rice. Most often requested dish for birthday dinners.
