1 box Duncan Hines yellow butter cake mix
1/4 c. Crisco oil
1 stick butter
1 can mandarin oranges
2 eggs

Beat cake mix, oil, butter and eggs for 4 minutes; add juice from oranges. Mix well. Cut oranges into small pieces; fold into batter.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes. Use a 9 x 13-inch pan, well-greased and floured.

Topping:

1 large instant vanilla pudding
1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Mix pineapple and pudding together until well blended. Add Cool Whip and fold into the mix. Ice cake when cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
