3/4 c. shortening
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. confectioners sugar
Food coloring; optional

In a large bowl, cream shortening for 5 minutes. Add egg whites and cream together well; add vanilla. Gradually add in confectioners sugar. Add food coloring. Use to frost or decorate cake. Makes 3 cups.
