TURKEY MEATLOAF OR PATTIES 
1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
1 egg (to lower the cholesterol and fat, discard yolk)
1 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 green pepper, finely chopped
1 zucchini, finely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tomato, finely chopped
Add any other vegetable ingredients you prefer
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Ground beef, pork or a mixture of ground meats may be substituted. For the lowest fat, cholesterol, and calorie counts, use ground breast of turkey.

Spray 13 x 9 inch pan with vegetable oil, form well mixed ingredients into loaf in pan. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until firm to touch in middle. Turkey should be cooked thoroughly. For a change, form ingredients into small patties and fry in skillet moistened with vegetable oil
