SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS | |
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 3/4 c. bread crumbs 1 egg, well beaten 1 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste 3/4 c. catsup 1/2 c. sugar Combine beef, bread, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls and place in baking dish. Set aside. In another bowl combine tomato paste, catsup and sugar. Pour over meatballs. Bake 1 1/2 hours in 350 degree oven. Serve over noodles or in chafing dish as an appetizer. This is so easy because you don't have to fry all these balls. |
