STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
2 1/2 c. strawberries, sliced
2 c. pretzels, crushed
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 envelope Dream Whip, prepared according to directions
2 (3 1/2 oz.) pkgs. strawberry Jello
1 1/4 c. sugar, divided plus 2 tbsp.
1 1/4 sticks butter, melted
2 c. hot pineapple juice

Mix strawberries with 1/4 cup sugar. Let stand. Mix pretzels with butter and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press firmly into 9 x 13 inch pan and bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool completely. Mix cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until creamy. Add prepared Dream Whip and mix well. Spread carefully over pretzel crust. Chill about 30 minutes, or until layer is firm. Dissolve Jello in juice. Stir in strawberries. Spoon over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until set.

Raspberries and raspberry Jello can be substituted.
