2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. sifted flour

Use a 6 x 10 1/2 loaf pan. Grease with butter and flour it well.

Then beat eggs and sugar together. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Add vanilla. Take milk and butter - bring to boiling point. (I use the microwave.) Add to mixture. Bake in moderate oven, 350, 30 minutes.

ICING:

1 can coconut
5 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter (melted)
3 tbsp. evaporated milk

Mix. Put on top of cooled cake. Place under broiler until brown.
