HERSHEY BAR CAKE 
8 Hershey bars
4 eggs
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. nuts (optional)
5 1/2 oz. can chocolate syrup
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt candy bars in top of double boiler. Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Add vanilla then flour and buttermilk alternately. Stir in melted candy and syrup and nuts. Bake in well greased and floured tube pan in 350 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. A rich cake - no need to frost.
