PUMPKIN PIE 
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. prepared pumpkin
1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. mace

Or, may use 2 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice.

Mix sugars, flour, salt and spices. Stir in pumpkin, milk and eggs. Place over burner and stir until warm. Pour mixture in unbaked pie shell and bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes. Add topping and bake 15 minutes longer.

TOPPING:

2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cold butter, cut in sm. pieces
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind (optional)
