ZUCCHINI AND SQUASH MEDLEY 
1 lb. zucchini, cut in 1/4" thick strips
1 lb. crookneck squash, cut in 1/4" thick strips
1/4 c. chopped green onions
2 tsp. fresh chopped basil
1/4 tsp. dried leaf thyme
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Place zucchini and squash in a casserole dish. Top with remaining ingredients. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir, recover and cook for an additional 4 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
