ALPINE ONION QUICHE (Microwave) | |
2 med. onions, thinly sliced 2 tbsp. butter 1 9" baked pie crust 4 tsp. flour 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 6 strips bacon, cooked & crumbled 3 eggs, beaten 1 c. milk 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper Place onions and butter in 1 quart glass casserole. Microwave on high for 4- 5 minutes or until onions are tender. Arrange onions in pie crust. Combine flour and Swiss cheese. Sprinkle over onions. Combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour over onion mixture. Microwave on low for 12-14 minutes or until filling is nearly set. Let stand for 10-12 minutes. |
