APPLE STICK RELISH 
3 tart apples
2/3 c. onion
1/2 dill pickle, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar

Cut apples into uniform strips. Heat vinegar enough to dissolve sugar. Cool. Combine vinegar and sugar mixture with apple sticks, onions and dill pickle. (This is a quick relish with an unusual flavor that is delicious with ham.)
