GRANDMA'S BANANA BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. butter, softened
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. mashed banana
1/3 c. water
1 2/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees, grease loaf pan. Mix sugar and butter. Stir in eggs until blended. Add banana and water, beat for 30 seconds. Stir in remaining ingredients until moistened, add nuts. Bake for 1 1/4 hours for 8 in loaf pan or 55 to 60 minutes for 9 inch loaf pan.
