CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE 
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. all purpose flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. melted butter, cooled
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 1/2 c. water (do not mix with the above)

Sift sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and cocoa into a 9 inch baking dish. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Spread batter evenly over dish. Mix topping made of sugars and cocoa. Spread over batter. Pour water over all and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until top springs back. Serves 8.
