CALICO BEANS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. bacon, cut up
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. mustard
Salt and pepper
2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
1 (15 oz.) can lima beans (optional)
1 (15 oz.) can butter beans (optional)

Brown beef, bacon and onion, drain. Drain kidney, lima and butter beans. Combine all ingredients in large casserole dish. Cover and bake at 250 to 275 degrees for two hours. Serves 6 to 8.
