PECAN TASTIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. pecans, cut up (set aside)

FILLING:

1 slightly beaten egg
1 tsp. butter
3/4 c. light brown sugar
Dash salt
Few drops vanilla

Mix dough. Make 24 balls. Shape into shells into miniature muffin tin. Sprinkle nuts in shells. Mix filling, then add 1 teaspoon small amounts in each shell. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-17 minutes. Reduce heat to 250 degrees and bake for 10 minutes longer. Cool, sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
