NEVER - FAIL ROAST | |
Eye of round roast (or any other roast of your choice) Kitchen Bouquet Salt & pepper 1 stick butter Preheat oven to 500 degrees. This cooks any size roast brown on the outside and pink on the inside. Put roast in pan and coat with Kitchen Bouquet. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover the top of roast with pats of batter. Place in preheated oven uncovered for 5 minutes per pound. Do not open oven door. When roast has cooked for 5 minutes per pound, turn off oven and leave for 2 hours. Don't open oven door until the end of this time. When this is done, you will have a beautiful roast and plenty of au jus gravy. |
