1 heaping c. miniature marshmallows
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries
1 sm. pkg. strawberry Jello
1 pkg. strawberry cake mix (cherry cake mix can be substituted)

In a bowl thaw strawberries and mix Jello in it. Let it stand a few minutes. Put marshmallows into a 9"x13" well buttered pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on cake package. Spoon cake batter over marshmallows. Spoon strawberry mixture on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve bottom side up with whipped topping.
