CASHEW PEAPODS 
1 pkg. (6 oz.) frozen pea pods, defrosted and drained
1 can (8 oz.) sliced water chestnuts, drained
2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/3 c. chopped green onion
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. sugar
Dash garlic powder
Dash ginger
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. cashews

In medium bowl combine vegetables, soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar and seasonings. Let stand while preheating dish. Preheat 10 inch browning dish 3 minutes at high. Add butter, tilt dish to coat bottom. Add vegetable mixture to dish, stirring to prevent sticking. Cover. Microwave at high 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp, stirring after 1/2 the time. Mix in cashews and serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
