CAPTAIN STEW | |
2 onions 4 tbsp. butter 2 lbs. ground beef 1 clove garlic, peeled & minced 1 bunch celery, chopped 1 tbsp. grated cheese 2 lg. green peppers, chopped 1 (9 oz.) pkg. wide noodles 1 can tomato soup 1 can tomato paste 1 can mushrooms, save juice 1 sm. jar green olives, save juice Saute onions, meat and garlic until brown. Pour off fat. Add vegetables, soup and tomato paste; mix well. Add mushrooms and olives and juice. Cook noodles. Mix with stew. Cover with grated cheese in a large casserole. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. |
