CREAMY PEAR SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. lime Jello
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. hot water
1 (16 oz.) can pears
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1/8 tsp. ginger

1. Dissolve Jello, sugar and salt in the 2 cups of hot water.

2. Drain pears, measuring the syrup and adding hot water to make 1 1/2 cups. Stir liquid and lemon juice into Jello.

3. Soften cream cheese, blend in 1 cup warm Jello and ginger. Pour into 5 cup Jello mold. Chill until set but not firm.

4. Chill remaining gelatin until slightly thickened. Stir in cut up pears. Spoon over gelatin in the mold. Chill until firm. Unmold.
