CUCUMBER AND ONION SALAD 
7 c. thinly sliced unpeeled cucumbers
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. thinly sliced onion rings
1 c. thinly sliced green peppers
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. celery salt

1. Mix 1 tablespoon salt with 7 cups sliced cucumbers. Let stand for 1 hour.

2. Mix with 1 cup thin sliced onion rings and 1 cup sliced green peppers.

3. Blend 2 cups of sugar with 1 cup of vinegar, 1/4 teaspoon of celery seed and 1/4 teaspoon celery salt. Mix with the cucumbers, onions and pepper.

4. Let stand for 24 hours before using. Will keep for weeks in the refrigerator.
