SUPER SNACK BARS 
1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 c. raisins
1 c. dried apricots, chopped
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten

Stir together bread crumbs and nuts. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Add sugar, raisins and apricots. Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in milk, vanilla and egg. Return to heat and cook stirring, about 5 minutes. Blend in remaining ingredients. Press into a buttered 8 or 9 inch pan. Chill 2 hours. Cut into squares.
