6 heads cabbage
6 carrots
2 green pepper
1 1/2 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
6 c. mayonnaise
3 c. milk
6 tsp. celery seed
Salt

Make ahead cabbage salad. Shred cabbage for slaw. Make layer of cabbage a few onions, sprinkle some sugar (7/8 cup as you layer cabbage). Another layer of cabbage, few onions, some sugar. Continue this until cabbage is used.

Boil 1 cup vinegar, 3/4 cup oil, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon dry mustard seed, 1 teaspoon celery seed, 1 teaspoon dillweed. Pour over cabbage and cover and refrigerate at least overnight.
