STRAWBERRY DIVINITY 
3 c. sugar
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. water
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello
1 c. chopped nuts

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, reduce heat and cook to a hard ball stage, or 252 degrees, stirring constantly. Combine stiffly beaten egg whites and Jello; beat until mixture forms peaks. Pour hot syrup in a thin stream in egg whites; beat until candy loses its gloss and holds shape. Fold in nuts. Pour into a 9" square pan or dish.
