1 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs, well beaten
1/4 c. milk

Add enough flour to make soft dough. Roll on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until very lightly browned. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Makes approximately 7 dozen cookies.
