CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter
2 c. white sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. oatmeal (after measuring, grind in a blender or food processor, until powder form)
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 lg. pkgs. chocolate chips
3 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Cream butter and sugars, add 4 eggs, mix for 2 minutes. In a separate bowl combine oatmeal, flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Mix all ingredients together. Add chocolate chips and nuts (optional).

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE! Allow to cool on baking pan 5 minutes before removing to wire rack.
