CRANBERRY CRUNCH PIE 
1 baked 10 inch pie shell
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch of salt
1 can (1 lb.) whole cranberry sauce
2 c. (1 lg.) peeled & chopped tart apple
Walnut streusel (sprinkle on top)

In small bowl of electric mixer, beat cheese until smooth and creamy. Spread in baked shell. Sift together brown sugar, cornstarch and salt. Add cranberry sauce and apples and stir to blend thoroughly. Spoon cranberry mixture on top of cream cheese, spreading evenly. Sprinkle streusel on top. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes or until streusel is golden brown. Cool and refrigerate to serve chilled.

WALNUT STREUSEL:

(May substitute pecans.)

Blend:

1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Add:

1/4 c. chilled butter

Rub between fingers to form large crumbs.
