CHICKEN SHOTGUN 
Whole chicken breasts (2 or 3 breasts should serve 3 or 4)

FILLING:

Sliced ham
Sliced or grated Swiss cheese
Whole pimentos
Chopped green onions or chives
Fine breadcrumbs
1 to 2 tsp. butter
Bacon, 1/2 to 1 lb. - long strips

Lay chicken breasts open with the pieces close together forming a rectangle. Arrange filling ingredients on chicken in the order given. Use small amounts of each ingredients, remembering that chicken is to be wrapped around filling. Dot butter atop other ingredients. Fold chicken around filling. Wrap bacon around both ends first.

Continue to wrap the chicken "roll, " overlapping bacon slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour. Bacon should be lightly browned but not crisp. Slice into one-inch pieces and arrange on platter. Serve immediately.
