PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 yellow cake mix
3 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple, drain completely
2 lg. boxes instant vanilla pudding
2 qts. strawberries, fresh & sliced
2 lg. tubs Cool Whip
Cherries
Nuts, chopped

Bake cake according to package directions. Make pudding according to package directions and set aside. Cool cake completely. Cut cake into bite size pieces and put a few of the pieces into the bottom of a punch bowl. Top with some of the crushed pineapple. Cover pineapple with some of the pudding. Cover pudding with some of the strawberries. Cover strawberries with some of the Cool Whip. Repeat layers. Top layer should be Cool Whip. Sprinkle with nuts and add cherry on top. Serves 10 to 12.
