CHOPS BAKED IN SOUP 
6 chops veal or pork
1/3 c. chopped onions
4 c. thinly sliced potatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/4 c. milk (soup can)

Brown chops in frying pan; using a little oil, if necessary. Remove chops from pan; add onions and brown them. Add soup and milk to onions in pan. Blend until smooth. Meanwhile, put sliced potatoes in a baking dish large enough to arrange chops on top. Pour soup mixture over chops and potatoes. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover; continue baking 30 to 40 minutes, until potatoes are done. 6 servings.

I use a 9 x 13 pan for 6 chops. Recipe can be adjusted according to how many you want to serve.
