APPLE SQUARES 
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
Cool Whip
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 c. diced apples
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 325°F. Sift dry ingredients and mix them well. Mix well the eggs, sugar (or substitute) and oil. Add the dry ingredients and mix. Add the apples and nuts.

Bake at 325°F in an 11 1/2 x 17-inch greased pan for 25 minutes.

Delicious iced with Cool Whip or served with ice cream for dessert rather than breakfast.
