4 med. potatoes 2 tbsp. butter 1/3 c. cream 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 egg 3 tbsp. chives, chopped 1 tbsp. poppy seeds Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender. Drain. Peel and mash with potato masher. Heat butter and cream. Beat into potatoes with salt, pepper, eggs, chives, and poppy seeds. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees for 1 hour. |
