CARAMEL APPLES 
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1/2 c. water
5 med. apples (tart)

In crock pot combine caramels and water. Cover, cook on high 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Stir often. Wash and dry apples. Insert stick into stem end of apple. Turn to low. Dip apple into hot caramel and turn to coat. Hold apple above pot, scrape off excess caramel from bottom of apple. Place on waxed paper to cool.
