POTATO CASSEROLE AU GRATIN 
6 med. potatoes, peel & sliced
2 med. onions, thinly sliced
1 stick butter
3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese, sliced
White pepper & salt to taste
1/3 c. milk or cream (if you happen to have it)
Paprika

Peel and slice potatoes, thinly slice onions. Place in pot with water to cover and cook until barely tender; drain.

In a 2 quart casserole, place a layer of potatoes, then onions, 1/2 of butter, dotted over onions, 1/2 of sliced cheese, salt and pepper. Repeat layers and add milk. Sprinkle top with paprika and bake approximately 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Serves 6-8.
