DOUBLE FUDGE SAUCEPAN BROWNIES 
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts; optional

Combine sugar, butter, and water in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to full boil. Remove from heat and immediately add 1 cup of the chocolate chips until melted. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir until blended. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into 1 greased 9 inch square pan and bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
