BROWNIE ALASKAS | |
1 pkg. (15.5 oz.) of fudge brownie mix 1 pt. pink peppermint or strawberry ice cream 4 egg whites 1/2 c. sugar Bake brownies as directed. Cut into 3 inch squares and place on baking sheet. Top with small scoop of ice cream and place in freezer for 1 hour. Make sure ice cream is hard. Heat oven to 500 degrees. Beat egg whites until foamy. Beat in sugar and continue beating until stiff. Cover brownies and ice cream with meringue, sealing it to edge of brownies. Bake 3 minutes or until meringue is light brown. Serve immediately. |
