MARINATED BEEF 
3-inch thick round, chuck or sirloin steak
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. salad oil
1/4 c. water

Heat all ingredients except meat to a boil and pour over meat. For sirloin or other tender meat, several hours marinating time is sufficient. For round steak, 24 hours. For chuck steak, 48 hours. Keep turning, poking with meat fork and basting during marinating.

Cook slowly over preheated coals about 1 1/2 hours, turning every 20 minutes.
