TEXAS PEACH COBBLER 
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 lg. can peaches or 4 c. sliced peaches (fresh or frozen)
1 stick butter

Pour into a large Pyrex dish one large can peaches and juice with 1/2 cup sugar. Mix together the remaining sugar, flour, baking soda; add one egg; mix well until dough is crumbly. Sprinkle over peaches. Cut into small pieces one stick butter and spread over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
