CARAMEL BARS 
Crust:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) melted butter

Put in a 9x13 pan. Save enough crust crumbs to sprinkle on top after caramels are added.

Bake crust at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Chocolate Nut Layer:

1 small bag chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Pour 1 small bag of chocolate chips and 1/2 cup nuts over crust.

Caramel Layer:

42 caramels (Kraft)
5 tsp. cream or milk

Melt caramels with cream or milk. Pour caramel mixture over and cover with reserved crumbs.

Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
