LAYERED SALAD 
1 sm. pkg. frozen green peas, slightly defrosted
2 c. torn fresh spinach
1 sm. head lettuce, shredded
1 c. finely chopped celery
1 c. finely chopped green pepper
1 c. onion, with some green tops
1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
2 c. light mayonnaise
Crisp crumbled bacon (enough to cover)

Use clear glass bowl. Layer spinach, celery, pepper, onion and peas, cheese, ending with lettuce. Cover with mayonnaise; chill several hours, or overnight. Cover with crisp bacon when ready to serve. Red peppers or carrots can be used if you desire more color in bowl.
