SOFT CUT COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
Juice from 1 orange squeezed
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
4 c. flour
1 box confectioners' sugar
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Add milk if needed

Cream together Crisco, butter, sugar and juice. Add eggs, baking soda, flour and mix well. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Divide in 2 parts and roll out and cut with cookie cutters.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!

Frosting: powdered sugar, butter, vanilla and milk. May be separated in several bowls and add food coloring. Frost when cool.
